But with several languages (ukrainian, for example) it's not right to do just like that. Problem is that many ukrainians are russian-speaking in everyday life. Which impinges directly on the quality of their ukrainian and, consequently, on the quality of their translations.
You could adjust Your algorithms by including there content analysis of translators twitting. If they are speaking mainly russian - credit them with the lower rate of credibility.
